hola!

here i come mexico!!
hehe, i'm leaving on easter at night for a week long mission trip
it's so completely random that i'm going, and i just decided like 2 weeks ago, so very last minute
nevertheless i am super excited to go
due to anonymous donors who graciously decided to support half of the cost, i am able to go for a mere $300. i'm so thankful and i can't wait!!!

the weather is supposed to be over 100 degrees (eeEkK!) and our group of 6 is leading a retreat for a couple of days and then a conference the next couple of days. it will be a jammed packed schedule. at the retreat, the kids are supposedly really good at english and at the conference, there should be lots of translators, so hopefully the language barrier won't be too bad
oh, we are going to merida, which is a city in the yucatan
it's also a little scary because of the whole drug war deal but God forbid anything happen
